Car tax; company car tax
From 1 January 2025, the car tax rate increases annually by the rate of inflation in July of the
previous year. The rate of company car tax also changed from 1 January 2025 (increasing by around
20%) and will be adjusted annually from 1 January 2026 according to the rate of inflation in July of
the previous year.
Hungarian Accessibility Act enters into force on 28 June 2025
The Hungarian Accessibility Act, which implements the EU Accessibility Directive No. 2019/882,
enters into force on 28 June 2025 and affects a wide range of companies providing products and
services that have been identified as being most important for persons with disabilities (e.g.,
computers, smartphones, transport-related services, etc.).
