Modification of energy performance certificate
According to the new modification of the relevant legislation, from 1 November 2023 buyers/tenants shall receive energy performance certificate when concluding a sales or lease contract. Important to note, that the identification number of the energy performance certificate shall be included in the contracts.
New legislation coming on employment of foreigners in Hungary
New legislation on the employment of foreigners, with the aim of reducing workforce shortages, introduces the definition of guest workers (e.g., third-country nationals from countries outside the EEA and from non-neighbouring countries), special provisions for their employment in Hungary, and establishes a special guest worker residence permit.
