The Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce is an independent self-government institution, operating in the form of chamber of commerce. It was established with its seat in Krakow. The member companies of the Chamber are companies registered either in Poland or Hungary. The activities of the Chamber are carried out independently and without politics.

The activities and operation of the Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce is financed primarily from corporate membership fees. Furthermore, the institution maintains its operation from revenues from consulting and services provided to companies. Chamber events are financed with the help of corporate sponsorship; therefore, events are tailored to the needs of the member companies.

The Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce was registered on 1 July 2020 in the Kraków District Court with the Polish registration number: KRS 0000845334

The legal basis for the operation of the Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce is regulated by the Act on Chambers of Commerce of 30 May 1990. The legal document regulating the operation of the Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce is the Statute of the Chamber.
