New EU Regulation on chemicals
The Environment Council of the EU has updated the legislation on chemicals, clarifying the rules on classification, labelling, packaging and adapting them to different forms of trade, such as online sales or bulk sales at filling stations. The regulation will make the labelling of chemical products clearer and easier to read, including digital labelling, and provide a higher level of protection against the risks posed by chemicals.
Implementation of NIS2 Directive comes into effect on 18 October
The NIS2 Directive, implemented by the Cybersecurity Act in Hungary, will come into effect on 18 October. Because of this, all entities have to conduct a self-assessment as to whether they are affected by the regulation and, if so, in order to prevent sanctions from being imposed, they need to register by 18 October on the online interface designated by the Regulatory Activities Supervisory Authority.
